2025 Membership Drive: An EXTRA BIG EGG X-MAS

Hey y'all, Colette here. Last week was the great American holiday of Black Friday, and I put a one-year subscription to BIG EGG on sale for $30. A lot of people signed up, but as of this email we're around 20 subscriptions shy of my long-standing goal of 100, so I'm a) leaving that deal up for the rest of today, and b) announcing a month-long project that'll be exclusive to BIG EGG subscribers across the free, MEDIUM, and BIG EGG tiers. Here's what's happening this month: In addition to wrapping up Horror month, the next cycle of regular BIG EGG doings, and the WCW MONDAY NITRO MASTERLIST, I'll be posting 31 brand new EXTRA BIG EGG essays. If you've forgotten what EXTRA BIG EGG is, it's basically a bonus essay from me covering some aspect of a match that Joseph and I did in regular coverage, whether that's a gimmick, a wrestler, or a style. I fell a bit behind after Hot Takes month, but am catching up and found myself wanting to stretch into other topics we've covered.

To that end, the mix of matches I'll be writing about this month are taken from Horror Month, Rematch Month, GAEA Month, Cena Month, Lucha Month, Tokyo Dome month, that month where Joseph was out and I was joined by Robert, Orchid, and Evan, and Funk Month. Some of these picks are looser interpretations of the theme than others — Cena Month, for instance, is mostly "guys who aren't Cena against other ace figures, except Khali who wrestled in Arena Mexico once??" and GAEA Month isn't limited to GAEA matches. Then I put them into a list randomizer to come up with the schedule, which is as follows:
