About BIG EGG

BIG EGG is an ad-free, reader-supported wrestling website by Colette Arrand and Joseph Montecillo. Launched in 2022 after the closure of Fanfyte, BIG EGG was envisioned as a space where two leading critics could continue to explore the great sport of professional wrestling without the pressure of adhering to the week-to-week flow of a handful of major wrestling organizations.

The matches covered on BIG EGG are chosen by Joseph and Colette according to their interest in a cycle of four matches. Sometimes BIG EGG does month-long dives into specific wrestlers or promotions, sometimes there's a broad theme like "gimmicks" or "lucha," and sometimes they're just vibing. Each match in the cycle is reviewed by Joseph and Colette, who then have a conversation about what they've seen in an effort to rank it in their completely serious BIG EGG MASTERLIST of professional wrestling, determining for all time what the greatest and worst matches of all time are.
